Course Content

Module 1: Human Resource Management
The aim of this unit is to develop knowledge understanding and skills in human resource management and consider contemporary issues that affect human resource management within organisations. <br> <br> <b>Learning Outcomes</b> <br> The learner will:<br> 1. Understand how human resource management contributes to organisational effectiveness.<br> 2. Understand the formulation and implementation of human resource management plans.<br> 3. Understand contemporary issues affecting human resource management in organisations.

Module 2: Hr – Performance Management
Performance management is a key process in any organization. It assists the management and staff to focus on the key issues and business objectives to ensure sustainability in an increasing competitive environment. People are a major source of competitive advantage. Organizations are challenged in deciding how to nurture, develop and manage its people in a manner that maximizes their performance. <br> <br> <b>Learning Outcomes</b> <br> The learner will:<br> be able to investigate and explore the major systems for enhancing the performance of employees at all levels and to advise their organizations on the effective best practices.

Module 3: Contemporary HRM
Explores the contemporary issues that have emerged or evolved in Human Resource Management (HRM) during the 21st century, such as social media, issues of climate change and artificial intelligence (AI), and provides insight from expert academics in the field alongside real world examples. <br> <br> <b>Learning Outcomes</b> <br> The learner will:<br> 1. Be able to Answer the question, “What is human resource management?”<br> 2. Discuss the trends affecting human resource management.<br> 3. Describe important competencies human resource managers need today.<br> 4. Explain and give examples of strategic human resource management.<br> 5. Discuss three strategic management tools managers use.
