Course Content

Module 1: Managing Quality and Service Delivery
the aim of this cource is to enable learners to develop the knowledge and understanding required to manage and deliver excellent customer service <br> <br> <b>Learning Outcomes</b> <br> The learner will:<br> 1. understand how to identify and meets stakeholder needs when managing quality and service delivery.<br> 2. understand how to Manage quality and service delivery.<br> 3. understand how to embed quality improvement and service delivery.

Module 2: Managing Information & Knowledge
To provide the learner with an understanding of the importance of information and knowledge to organisations and the key concepts of managing information and knowledge in a business setting. <br> <br> <b>Learning Outcomes</b> <br> The learner will:<br> 1. Understand the meaning and sources of information and knowledge for the workplace.<br> 2. Understand how information and knowledge are shared and used in the workplace and why they are important.<br> 3. Understand the importance of using current, valid and reliable information and knowledge in the workplace.<br> 4. Understand policies, procedures, legislation and best practice for managing information.

Module 3: Project management
To understand the process of identifying appropriate and feasible projects, and to be able to initiate and start a project. To be able to manage, monitor and control a project, including assessing, managing and controlling project risks and issues, project and team management and change management. To be able to evaluate the success or failure of a project. <br> <br> <b>Learning Outcomes</b> <br> The learner will:<br> 1. Be able to analyse business objectives to identify feasible projects<br> 2. Be able to design systems and plans for initiating managing and controlling projects<br> 3. Be able to organise and manage a project<br> 4. Be able to monitor and control the progress of projects<br> 5. Be able to review, evaluate and closeout a project

Module 4: Risk Management
To raise business risk awareness and develop knowledge and understanding in the assessment, monitoring and control of business risks. To enable the learner to develop an appreciation of the implications of business risks <br> <br> <b>Learning Outcomes</b> <br> The learner will:<br> 1. Understand the risk management function in business<br> 2. Understand how business risk is assessed and managed<br> 3. Understand the effects of business risks and how they can be managed<br> 4. Understand approaches to crisis management and business continuity planning
